There is no greater subject in the Bible that brings forth more controversy and confusion than the hotly debated topic of the rapture. Many teach against it altogether.

Those who do embrace a literal rapture champion one of three dispensational positions; a “pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation” occurrence. Since “…God is not the author of confusion…” (1Cor. 14:33), we must assume that a complete analysis and harmonizing of all the Scriptures pertaining to this event are not being properly considered.
Paul states that the rapture is “a mystery” (1Cor.15:51). Therefore we must cultivate a little “Sherlock Holmes mentality” in which we carefully scrutinize every shred of evidence if we are to understand this mystery.
