God wants His truths to be displayed. Therefore I have never been one that was prone to plain white walls in a church. I am an advocate that “a picture is worth a thousand words”. It is a well known fact that when visual aids are added to what is spoken the retention rate skyrockets. I teach with computer graphics projected on a 12 foot screen. Our music is also vividly projected in inspirational color graphics. On one side of our sanctuary there is a 35 foot display of the prophetic significance of the seven Feasts of the Lord. On the other side I have displayed the Tabernacle of Moses because it is the copy of the true one that it is heaven (Heb. 8:5). The rear of our sanctuary displays the New Jerusalem, the Bride of Christ. All of these displays are designed to keep before the eye gate the truths of God’s Word that were given to motivate God’s people to be able to “lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith…” (Heb. 12:1-2).
